About Laura Cipullo, RD, CDE Laura Cipullo's passion has been nutrition right from the start. In college she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Colorado State University, where she graduated with honors. After college she interned at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell Weill Medical Center as a Dietetic Intern. There, she fulfilled the American Dietetic Association's requirements and passed the Registered Dietitian examination. Laura began working full-time as a clinical dietitian for New York Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell Weill Medical Center. In 2000, she opened her private practice Laura Cipullo, LLC Nutrition Services in Dumont, NJ where she specialized in medical nutrition therapy, eating disorders and the non-diet approach. Due to her success in this practice, she soon moved her business to Englewood, NJ and expanded to offices in Ridgewood, NJ and Manhattan, NY. Laura Cipullo, RD is also a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). She provides expert advice to clients with diabetes and questions concerning a low to moderate carbohydrate diet. In order to devote more time and energy to her private practice, Laura Cipullo, RD, CDE resigned from her part time position as the Cardiac Dietitian at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell Weill Medical Center in March of 2005. Laura now spends her time counseling private clients in the New York and New Jersey offices of Laura Cipullo. LLC Nutrition Services. In addition, Laura also acts as a consultant for the eating disorder centers, CEDaR Associates, where she acts as the Nutrition Coordinator and The Renfrew Center. Laura Cipullo shares her expertise in the nutrition field by providing mentoring services to other Registered Dietitians and volunteering for food and nutrition causes. In October 2005, Laura volunteered as a Food Professional to create a positive food related experience for the children participating in the American Institute of Wine and Food Days of Taste program. To meet the demands of a growing business, Laura employs a team of registered dietitians and certified diabetes educators at Laura Cipullo, LLC Nutrition Services. Together, Laura and her team provide safe, knowledge based nutrition education.
